Daljit is currently the Executive Chef at Copper Chimney, hailed as “the newest and finest Indian restaurant to open in St Peters in St Charles county. His innovative, original twists on classic Indian fare have won him high praise from the culinary world and a loyal fan base of diners .
He began a career in cooking at Bombay Restaurant in California, working his way up to sous chef, and inspired by the thought of combining cuisines (like Indian and Chinese) to produce a fresh new taste sensation . In Missouri he worked at House of India for more than 10 years.
After the launch of Copper Chimney in 2012, Daljit has put his creative culinary genius to work – and he’s been delivering outstanding, much-talked-about menu items since opening. Daljit's passion for Indian cooking and vast experience has made him stand here today.
